Who's Playing

Seton Hall @ Connecticut

Regular Season Records: Seton Hall 21-9; Connecticut 22-8

What to Know

The Seton Hall Pirates and the #20 Connecticut Huskies are even-steven against one another since February of last year (2-2), but not for long. The Pirates and UConn are set to clash at 9:30 p.m. ET March 10 at Madison Square Garden in the second round of the Big East Conference Tourney.

Seton Hall earned some postseason bragging rights after a successful outing on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Georgetown Hoyas, sneaking past 57-53. Guard Jared Rhoden (17 points) was the top scorer for Seton Hall.

Meanwhile, UConn bagged a 75-68 victory over the DePaul Blue Demons on Saturday. UConn can attribute much of their success to forward Adama Sanogo, who posted a double-double on 26 points and 11 boards, and guard Tyrese Martin, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds.

The Pirates are expected to lose this next one by 4. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 4-0 against the spread when expected to lose.

A couple numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Seton Hall enters the contest with 5.4 blocked shots per game on average, good for 12th best in college basketball. But the Huskies are even better: they rank second in college basketball when it comes to blocked shots per game, with 6.6 on average. Points in the paint might be hard to come by.
