Down two points to Wisconsin with under 4 seconds left in overtime in the East Regional semifinals, Florida put the ball in the hands of point guard Chris Chiozza, who went coast-to-coast and hit a running 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Gators 84-83 win.
Chiozza went 3-for-6 on the night from the field and finished with 8 points, but none were bigger than his final three points. As it turns out, his only three-pointer that fell on the night was the only one that mattered as the Gators advanced to the Elite Eight where they will take on No. 7 seed South Carolina.
