The Richmond Spiders are 9-2 against the George Washington Colonials since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success Tuesday. Richmond and George Washington will face off in an Atlantic 10 battle at 7 p.m. ET at Charles E. Smith Center. The Spiders won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy a 7-point advantage in the spread.

Richmond found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unfortunate 77-57 punch to the gut against the VCU Rams this past Friday.

Meanwhile, George Washington strolled past the Rhode Island Rams with points to spare this past Saturday, taking the contest 72-61. George Washington's guard Joe Bamisile filled up the stat sheet, picking up 20 points.

Richmond is expected to win this handily, but they should have beaten the Saint Joseph's Hawks Dec. 30 easily too and instead slipped up with an 83-56. In other words, don't count the Colonials out just yet.
