The #11 Iowa State Cyclones have enjoyed the comforts of home their last six games, but now they must head out on the road. Iowa State and the Oklahoma Sooners will face off in a Big 12 battle at 6 p.m. ET Saturday at Lloyd Noble Center. The Cyclones have been on the wrong side of a one-way rivalry with Oklahoma and are hoping to record their first win since Jan. 11 of 2020.

Iowa State sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-47 victory over the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Wednesday. Guard Izaiah Brockington (14 points) and forward Aljaz Kunc (13 points) were the top scorers for Iowa State.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma came up short against the Baylor Bears on Tuesday, falling 84-74. Despite the loss, the Sooners got a solid performance out of forward Tanner Groves, who had 13 points and five assists along with six rebounds.

The Cyclones are expected to lose this next one by 6. Those burned by picking them against the spread on Wednesday might want to keep in mind that the squad has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.

Iowa State was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap when the two teams previously met in March of last year as they fell 79-73 to Oklahoma. The defeat knocked Iowa State out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Oklahoma with a vengeful fire.
