What to Know

The San Diego Toreros lost both of their matches to the San Francisco Dons last season on scores of 62-70 and 51-67, so they're hoping to turn the tables this season. San Diego and San Francisco will face off in a West Coast battle at 7 p.m. ET Saturday at War Memorial Gymnasium. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Two weeks ago, the Toreros got maybe a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the UNLV Rebels an easy 80-57 victory. Forward Terrell Brown put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 16 points in addition to eight boards.

Meanwhile, the Dons were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 79-74 to the Loyola Chicago Ramblers. Despite the defeat, San Francisco got a solid performance out of forward Yauhen Massalski, who had 20 points along with five rebounds and four blocks.
