Who's Playing

North Carolina A&T @ UCF

Current Records: North Carolina A&T 3-7; UCF 5-2

What to Know

The North Carolina A&T Aggies are on the road again Saturday and play against the UCF Knights at 2 p.m. ET Dec. 11 at Addition Financial Arena. UCF will be strutting in after a victory while the Aggies will be stumbling in from a defeat.

The contest between North Carolina A&T and the East Carolina Pirates on Tuesday was not a total blowout, but with North Carolina A&T falling 82-71 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one. The top scorer for North Carolina A&T was guard Demetric Horton (15 points).

Meanwhile, UCF was totally in charge on Sunday, breezing past the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats 81-45 at home. Four players on the Knights scored in the double digits: guard Darin Green Jr. (18), guard Tyem Freeman (12), guard Brandon Mahan (11), and forward C.J. Walker (10). Darin Green Jr.'s performance made up for a slower matchup against the Auburn Tigers last week.

The Aggies have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 17.50 point spread they are up against. Those burned by picking them against the spread on Tuesday might want to keep in mind that the squad has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.

North Carolina A&T's loss took them down to 3-7 while UCF's win pulled them up to 5-2. In UCF's win, Green Jr. had 18 points and Brandon Mahan had 11 points. We'll see if North Carolina A&T have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
