Former South Florida defensive end LaDarrius Jackson was arrested on Wednesday. It's the second time this month that Jackson has been arrested, and just like his first arrest, he's again been charged with sexual battery and false imprisonment.

Jackson was originally charged with sexual battery and false imprisonment for an alleged incident that took place on May 1. This second arrest for the same charges stems from an incident that allegedly took place in March.

Jackson's first appearance in a courtroom last week garnered national attention when the judge at his hearing, USF alum Margaret Taylor, told Jackson she was ashamed to be an alum and also called out coach Charlie Strong, questioning whether he had any control of his team.

Taylor would later recuse herself from Jackson's case after video of the hearing went viral.

USF announced that Jackson had been dismissed from the team on Wednesday. He had previously been suspended from all team activities following his first arrest.
