Live scores, highlights and updates from the Nevada vs. Utah State football game
Game Recap
When you finish with 332 more yards than your opponent like the Nevada Wolf Pack did on Thursday, a favorable outcome is almost sure to follow. They took their matchup against the Utah State Aggies by a conclusive 34-9 score. That 25-point margin sets a new team best for Nevada on the season.
The Wolf Pack's WR Romeo Doubs looked sharp as he caught seven passes for three TDs and 137 yards. One of the most thrilling moments was Doubs' 54-yard TD reception in the second quarter. QB Carson Strong had a good game, too, finishing with three touchdowns.
No one had a standout game offensively for Utah State, but they got one touchdown from WR Justin McGriff.
The victory for Nevada kept them a perfect 3-0. Utah State still hasn't won a contest and fell to 0-3.
Nevada will take on the New Mexico Lobos at 6:30 p.m. ET next week at Sam Boyd Stadium. The Aggies will take on the Fresno State Bulldogs at 2:30 p.m. ET next week at home. Fresno State also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their game last week, so look for the defenses to decide this one.
