Notre Dame vs. Florida State Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Notre Dame vs. Florida State football game
Game Recap
The Florida State Seminoles were first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish two weeks ago. FSU took a 42-26 bruising from Notre Dame. The result was an unfortunate reminder to the Seminoles of the 42-13 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head in November of 2018.
RB Kyren Williams had a stellar game for the Fighting Irish as he rushed for two TDs and 185 yards on 19 carries. Williams' longest run was for 65 yards in the first quarter. QB Ian Book had a good game, too, finishing with three touchdowns.
QB Jordan Travis put forth a good effort for the losing side as he passed for one TD and 204 yards on 24 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 96 yards.
FSU's loss pushed them down to 1-3. The victory for Notre Dame kept them a perfect 3-0.
FSU will take on the North Carolina Tar Heels at 7:30 p.m. ET last week at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium. The Fighting Irish will play host again and welcome the Louisville Cardinals to Notre Dame Stadium, where kick-off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET last week. With a combined 1,025 yards of offense in their previous games, we can expect a fast-paced contest.
