After flying high against the Fort Valley State Wildcats last week, the Florida A&M Rattlers came back down to earth. Florida A&M ended up on the wrong side of a painful 38-17 walloping at the South Florida Bulls' hands on Saturday. The Rattlers were in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 24-3.

Florida A&M's overall record fell to 1-2. South Florida's win brought them up to an identical 1-2.

Florida A&M will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against the Alabama State Hornets at 6 p.m. ET in two weeks at Bragg Memorial Stadium. As for South Florida, they will face off against the BYU Cougars at 10:15 p.m. ET next Saturday at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
