The Utah State Aggies beat the Connecticut Huskies 31-20 on Saturday. The win came about thanks to a strong surge after the first quarter to overcome a 14 to nothing deficit.

The contest brought Utah State to 1-0 and dropped UConn to a mirror-image 0-1.

The Aggies will take on the Alabama Crimson Tide at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Utah State have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 38.50 point spread they are up against. As for UConn, they will go up against the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils at noon ET on Saturday at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.
