Jones' 2023 season came to a premature end last August after suffering an undisclosed injury at training camp. Although the specific nature of his injury was not made clear, it appears as though he is fully recovered from the issue. Jones will head back to waivers after going unclaimed and reverting to injured reserve earlier this week. The 25-year-old will now shift his focus to getting healthy and will look to catch on with another team.

Jets' Myles Jones: Reverts to IR with New York
Jones (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve with the Jets on Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Jones was let go by the team on Monday but he cleared waivers, and he will be forced to miss the 2024 season while on IR. The cornerback is dealing with an undisclosed injury and he will now have to continue to wait to make his NFL debut until at least 2025.
