    Aumavae (Achilles) cleared waivers and reverted to injured reserve Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

    Aumavae is still recovering from the Achilles tear he suffered last July. The Oregon product was waived by Carolina on Thursday, and since he's cleared waivers, he'll now move to the team's injured reserve.

    Aumavae linked up with Carolina after going undrafted out of Oregon earlier in the offseason, but the team has now decided to part ways with the 25-year-old.
