Scrubb (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Scrubb has been out since July 19 with a right shoulder strain. He began a flat-ground throwing program Friday but will not be eligible to return to the Astros until September 19. Before the injury, Scrubb pitched to a 5.03 ERA and 1.47 WHIP in 19.2 innings of relief while blowing two saves in 18 appearances. Pedro Baez (shoulder) was activated from the 60-day IL to fill Scrubb's 40-man roster spot Tuesday.
