Cesar Jimenez: Cut by Brewers

Jimenez was released by the Brewers on Tuesday.

Jimenez, who was contemplating leaving the majors for Italian baseball, didn't make a single appearance for the Brewers this spring. He most recently pitched in the big leagues in 2015, when he posted a 3.13 ERA with 25 strikeouts across 23.0 innings. If a team opts to pick him up, he'll likely serve as organizational depth.
