Cubs' Vinny Nittoli: Outrighted to Triple-A

The Cubs outrighted Nittoli to Triple-A Iowa on Monday.

He can elect free agency and seems likely to do so given that he did just over a week ago when the Athletics outrighted him off their 40-man roster. Nittoli did not make an appearance during his one day on the Cubs' roster.
