Rangers' Edwar Colina: Removed from 40-man roster

Colina (elbow) was outrighted to Triple-A Round Rock on Friday.

Colina was claimed off waivers by Texas in early October but will now be cast off the 40-man roster. The right-hander underwent a season-ending arthroscopic debridement of his posterior elbow in late May, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be ready for spring training in 2022.
