Blackhawks' Zach Sanford: Reassigned to AHL

Sanford was moved to AHL Rockford on Friday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times. It's believed his reassignment is merely a paper transaction to keep him eligible for the AHL playoffs.

Sanford is likely to be recalled before Saturday's game against Washington. He has three assists in 16 appearances with the Blackhawks in 2023-24.
