Devils' Colton White: Lands on waiver wire

White was placed on waivers by the Devils on Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

After signing a two-year, two-way deal with New Jersey in early July, White couldn't earn a spot on the team's Opening Night roster. If he clears waivers, he'll likely head to the AHL to begin the regular season.
