Hutson has been loaned to AHL Bakersfield by the Oilers, the team announced Sunday.
The return of Jack Roslovic (undisclosed) required a roster casualty, and it will be Hutson who will be sent down. The 23-year-old played three games while with the Oilers, scoring his first NHL goal on Dec. 18. Now, he'll head down to the AHL where he has been excellent, scoring 16 goals in 24 games.

The 23-year-old's AHL rookie season is going swimmingly, as he has 10 goals, nine helpers, and a plus-7 rating through 18 appearances. The Oilers haven't given him a call-up yet, but the undrafted winger has done everything he can to put himself in contention for one should the big club need reinforcements.
