Do you know what the Mile High Showdown is? Neither did we, that is until Maurice Allen sauntered onto the scene. The event invites some of the biggest long-ball hitters in golf to smash the ball as far as possible in the Denver altitude.
And Allen, who seemingly loves the spotlight, was ready for his closeup when the event started, sporting perhaps the greatest pants/shoes combo that has ever been rocked on a course.

This was Allen's first televised World Long Drive Association win and he soaked it all up, going full Nature Boy during one of his interviews.

Someone put this man on every Tour stop. Is he a golfer in the conventional sense? No, but he can break the sport open, one loud pair of pants and boisterous post-round interview at a time.
Imagine a driving competition with Allen, Jordan Speith and Rory McIlroy. Just take our money now. Also Allen might be able to see the future.
