Cotts makes long-awaited return

Texas minor-league pitcher Neal Cotts made his first appearance in a regular-season game in nearly three years when he took the mound Monday night for Triple-A Round Rock. Cotts, who has battled an assortment of injuries including a recent lat strain, pitched 1 2/3 innings and allowed a run on two hits. He did manage two strikeouts.
