Cubs-Brewers highlights: Kyle Schwarber's first career bunt was absolutely perfect

The Cubs hosted the Brewers on Monday night (MIL-CHC GameTracker), and in the bottom of the first the Milwaukee confronted lefty slugger and leadoff man Kyle Schwarber with an infield overshift. That's nothing unusual for a potent lefty hitter with pull tendencies, but Schwarber's response to said shift was most unexpected. Please enjoy ... 

Yep, Mr. Schwarber just busted out some game theory on Milwaukee and laid down a perfect bunt down the third base line. Prior to that work of art, Schwarber had never before laid a successful bunt at the big-league level. Now, though, he'll forevermore be known as a small-ball threat of the first order. Maybe. 

Anyhow, said bunt nudged Schwarber's OBP north of the vaunted .400 mark, so, yes, he's a darn good leadoff hitter thus far. He's also a bunt-smith.
