Bollinger cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday.
Bollinger was removed from the 40-man roster when the Yankees acquired Adeiny Hechavarria on Friday. The 27-year-old has topped out at the Triple-A level, posting a 3.00 ERA there in three starts this season.
