Twins' Breckin Williams: Signs with Minnesota
Rotowire
Williams signed a minor-league deal with Minnesota and has been added to High-A Cedar Rapids.
Williams posted 16 saves for High-A Visalia in 2019 with Arizona, but he gave up 10 runs at Double-A Amarillo in two innings this season before he was released. Arizona drafted him in the fourth round in 2015 out of the University of Missouri. He'll get a fresh start with the Twins and his high strikeout rates in the low minors could give him a shot at a career rebound.
