Cardinals vs. Seahawks Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Sunday's NFL game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Cardinals vs. Seahawks football game
Halftime Report
A win for the Seahawks would push their record over .500, and after two quarters of play they've put themselves in a good position to make it happen. They have jumped out to a 13-6 lead against the Cardinals.
If the Seahawks keep playing like this, they'll bump their record up to 9-8 in no time. On the other hand, the Cardinals will have to make due with a 4-13 record unless they turn things around (and fast).
Preview
The Cardinals will be in front of their home fans on Sunday, but a look at the spread shows they might need that home-field advantage. They will take on the Seattle Seahawks at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday. The Seahawks took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on the Cardinals, who come in off a win.
Arizona scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Sunday. They secured a 35-31 W over the Eagles. Arizona was down 21-6 with 0:16 left in the second quarter but they still came back for the handy four-point victory.
The Cardinals' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Conner, who rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Conner set a new season high mark in carries with 26. Michael Carter brought some help for the Cardinals off the bench as he gained 67 total yards and a touchdown.
The Cardinals were down by three with only two minutes and 33 seconds left when they drove 96 yards for the winning score. Conner punched in the touchdown from 2 yards out.
Meanwhile, the point spread may have favored Seattle last Sunday, but the final result did not. They took a 30-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steelers.
Despite the loss, the Seahawks got a solid performance out of Geno Smith, who threw for 290 yards and a touchdown.
Even though they lost, the Seahawks found their momentum and kept it and finished the game with 7.5 yards per play. That's the most yards per play they've managed all season.
Arizona's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Seattle, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
