Jaguars vs. Bills updates: Live NFL game scores, results for Sunday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Jaguars vs. Bills football game
The Buffalo Bills will head out on the road to face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at TIAA Bank Field. Buffalo has a defense that allows only 15.57 points per game, so Jacksonville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
It was all tied up 3-3 at the half for the Bills and the Miami Dolphins last week, but Buffalo stepped up in the second half for a 26-11 victory. It was another big night for Buffalo's QB Josh Allen, who passed for two TDs and 249 yards on 42 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 55 yards. Allen ended up with a passer rating of 134.60.
Meanwhile, a win for Jacksonville just wasn't in the stars last week as the squad never even grasped a temporary lead. They have to be aching after a bruising 31-7 defeat to the Seattle Seahawks. The Jaguars were down 24 to nothing at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. No one had a standout game offensively for Jacksonville, but they got one touchdown from QB Trevor Lawrence.
The Bills are the favorite in this one, with an expected 14.5-point margin of victory. Those brave souls putting their money on Jacksonville against the spread have faith in an upset since their team's 2-5 record ATS can't hold a candle to Buffalo's 4-2-1.
Buffalo came out on top in a nail-biter against Jacksonville when the teams previously met three seasons ago, sneaking past 24-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for Buffalo since the team won't have home-field advantage. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
