Malcom Floyd a risky Fantasy proposition
Share Video
Chargers wide receiver Malcom Floyd finished Week 1 with one catch for 47 yards. He was targeted five times, second-most on the team.
While the Chargers lost their top receiver, Danario Alexander, to inury before the sesaon started, they have three legitimate options vying for targets -- Floyd, Eddie Royal, and Vincent Brown. The three could leapfrog each other every week as Philip Rivers' favorite target. While Brown may be the most talented of the group, Floyd could be the most reliable, and Royal is probably most familiar with the machinations of Mike McCoy, who was his offensive coordinator in Denver.
Floyd is capable of putting up big numbers -- he has nine career games with over 100 yards receiving and even produced a 200-yard game in 2010 -- but with so many options in the Chargers' offense, it's tough to make a case to start Floyd against the Eagles in Week 2.
