The Seahawks announced the players on the Physically Unable to Perform List on Thursday, and receiver Percy Harvin was listed with a hip injury. NFL Network reports that Harvin could have a slight tear in his labrum, and he's heading for a second opinion.
USA Today reports that Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Harvin's hip issue cropped up in a workout a week ago. Carroll said surgery "may be" considered for Harvin.
"We need to get more information," Carroll said.
Harvin practiced with the team all offseason without getting hurt, but he did have hip problems in 2010 with the Vikings. The Seahawks acquired Harvin this offseason from Minnesota.
