Seahawks vs. Cardinals updates: Live NFL game scores, results for Sunday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Seahawks vs. Cardinals football game
After two games on the road, the Seahawks are heading back home. They will take on the Arizona Cardinals at 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
There was early excitement for Seattle after they claimed the first score on Sunday, but it was Cincinnati who ended up claiming the real prize. The Seahawks fell to the Bengals 17-13. Seattle gained 167 more yards on the day, but it was Cincinnati that made the best of use of them.
Meanwhile, Arizona's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Sunday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 26-9 to the Rams.
Seattle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Arizona, their loss was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-5.
Not only did the two teams lose their last games, but neither team managed to cover the spread. Looking forward, the Seahawks are the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by eight points. This contest will be the Cardinals' seventh straight as the underdogs (so far over this stretch they are 3-3 against the spread).
Seattle beat Arizona 31-21 when the teams last played back in November of 2022. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Cardinals' Kyler Murray, who threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Now that he won't be playing on Sunday, will it be that much easier for the Seahawks to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
