What to Know

The Carolina Panthers have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on the New York Giants at 1 p.m. ET Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Given that these two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The Panthers fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Minnesota Vikings last week but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 34-28. No one had a standout game offensively for Carolina, but they got scores from WR Robby Anderson and RB Chuba Hubbard.

QB Daniel Jones had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: besides failing to produce a single touchdown, he threw three interceptions and fumbled the ball once with only 4.75 yards per passing attempt.

This next contest is expected to be close, with the Panthers going off at just a 3-point favorite. Those sticking with them against the spread have guts, to put it politely, as the squad has let down bettors in their past three games.
