Henrik Lundqvist couldn't lift the New York Rangers past the Ottawa Senators in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs this season.
But he sure could spark a celebration for Sweden in the IIHF World Championship, logging the save that secured his international team's first gold medal since 2013 and eliciting a tackle of joy from teammate William Nylander.
Canada's Mitch Marner had a chance to put one past "Hank" on Sunday when it mattered most, but Lundqvist, who helped Sweden move past Finland in the semifinals, stood his ground in the net and sealed the 2-1 shootout victory, warranting a championship celebration fitting for a "King."
