Barcelona vs. Inter Milan score: Ansu Fati makes Champions League history as Inter crashes out
A Messi-less Barcelona side got the win and sent the Italian team to the Europa League
Barcelona's 17-year-old sensation Ansu Fati became the youngest goalscorer in Champions League history on Tuesday, netting the winner in a 2-1 victory at Inter Milan that knocked the Italian club out of the competition and allowed Borussia Dortmund to go through. Barca had already won Group F, and Inter needed to either earn more or the same amount of points as Dortmund on the night to advance in second place.
At halftime, both games were tied 1-1, which would have been enough for Inter to advance. But Dortmund took home a 2-1 victory, Inter missed a bunch of chances and Fati made Antonio Conte's team pay dearly. The Serie A leaders conceded to the young star in the 86th minute, just moments after he entered the game. The goal meant Inter needed two goals to move on. The club didn't get one, and now is off to the Europa League.
Here's the goal from Fati, a native of Guinea-Bissau who turned 17 in late October:
In a match where Lionel Messi didn't play and Luis Suarez started on the bench, Inter had no business losing. Inter had eight shots on goal and numerous chances to win the game, yet couldn't find answers in the final third. It's a blow to Conte in his first season with the club, as this was a team expected to move on due to recent form. In the end, it couldn't beat a Barca team without a number of its key players, leaving Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku to remember all of the missed chances that could have been the difference as 16 other teams advance for Europe's top prize.

Barcelona 2, Inter Milan 1 (FT)
Fati with the goal for Barca! That should do it for Inter!
Dortmund has scored against Slavia Prauge. Inter going to need to win this one if Dortmund wins. 15 minutes to go.
Lautaro Martinez just put the ball away, but he was clearly offside.
Lovely from Martinez to get by the Barca defense, but his shot from atop the box goes just wide, and Antonio Conte can't believe it!
61' Lukkau in front of goal with a wide open chance, but Neto makes the big save!!!!
58' Big save from Handanovic to deny Griezmann. Low shot with pace, not great accuracy, but he deals with it well.
It's better from Inter. Controlling the ball well and looking like a threat for a second.
A big development in Germany. Slavia Prague has scored to draw level with Dortmund. Both games at 1-1, which means Inter would be through. A crazy 45 minutes to come.
