It's the great debate, and one that will carry on forever because there will always be a massive amount of supporters on each side. Who is the best player ever when it comes to soccer? Everybody has their pick, but one legendary coach decided to name his top three.

Fabio Capello, former coach of AC Milan, Real Madrid, Juventus, England and other teams, said Diego Maradona and Pele are the best in history, adding that Lionel Messi is in that category, per Fox Sports in Italy.

"Pele, Maradona and Messi. They are the three best in the history of soccer," he said.

"They are soccer players that put fans on their feet because of their play and at the end of games walk off the field to an ovation."

Of course, those are the usual top three. Many feel that Lionel Messi needs to win a World Cup, just like Pele and Maradona (Pele won three), to cement his legacy.

So what do you say? Do you agree with Capello or is there someone else you would put on that list?
