LOOK: Goalkeeper pauses for in-game water break, allows goal and is left shocked
A German team scored a stunning tap-in goal after the keeper stops for a drink in the back of the net
You know what's super important in any sport? Staying hydrated. Our body is made up of mostly water, and the fresh, clear liquid is a must for any athlete that wants to perform at a high level.
But what you shouldn't do is go get that water during the middle of a game, especially when you are a goalkeeper.
But that's what Mark Flekken of Duisburg did on Saturday. Facing Ingolstadt in Bundesliga 2 action, the goalkeeper decided to turn his back and take a swig. Little did he know that the other team was closing in on goal, and Stefan Kutschke put the ball away with the goalkeeper not paying attention. Take a look:

That is absolutely shocking, and you have to see it to believe it. An all-time blunder and one that will forever be difficult to understand.
