First Leg

A brilliant Cristiano Ronaldo hat trick lifted Real to a 3-0 win in the first leg last Tuesday. The win puts Real on the verge of its second straight final appearance, which it is likely 90 minutes away from clinching.

Why Atleti is probably done

Atletico enters this match down 3-0, so it will need a miracle to come back. Had Real won the first leg 3-0 on the road instead of at home, I would say Atleti has no chance at all.

The comeback likely won't happen, and Real is already making its plans for the final, but never say never.

Why Atleti has a chance

Because anything can happen. Imagine if Atleti gets an early goal and then, say, a penalty kick? That would turn the tide on its head and would give us some crazy moments in the second leg.

Player to watch

Atleti's Antoine Griezmann. The French star is going to have to put on a performance like no other for his team to even threaten here. He can do it, but it isn't likely.

Odds

Real to win - 8/5
Draw - 13/5
Atleti to win - 6/4

Prediction

Real is going to score. And with just one, Atletico is going to need five. This is over. Real 2, Atletico 1.
