Twitter and Liverpool part-owner LeBron James celebrate Premier League title and end of 30-year drought
Turns out winning a title is a pretty joyous experience, especially if you're LeBron James

It might not have been how supporters envisioned it happening, but Liverpool have finally put their arduous title-drought to rest. Following Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Manchester City, Liverpool officially clinched a Premier League championship for the first time ever.
The distinction, of course, is that Liverpool has won domestic championships in the past, it was just before England's top flight soccer league was renamed for the sake of a corporate sponsor. But even before then, the drought had already begun.
Thursday's title was the first since the 1989-90 season and brings the club's domestic title total to 19, just one behind Manchester United, who don't exactly look like they'll be extending their lead anytime soon. Liverpool seems set to not just defend their title, but perhaps start a dynasty whose dominance has been on full display over the last couple years.
As one might expect with the snapping of a title drought that lasted a full generation, those Liverpool supporters on social media were brimming with happiness at this truly incredible accomplishment and could not wait to express just how emotional this moment made them. Here are some of the best tweets from Thursday.

All the years of waiting. The fall from grace in the 90's. Houllier's revival. Rafa's revolution. The return of The King. The SAS strike force. The heartbreak of second place finishes. Klopp comes along and turns Liverpool into a colossus. IncREDible. #LFC #LFCFamily #YNWA 🏆
