Showtime Boxing is set for an action-packed weekend of fights with Jermall Charlo and Jesus Cuellar all ready to go
Showtime Boxing is finishing 2016 with a bang on Saturday night. After putting on two of the biggest fights of the year -- Carl Frampton vs. Leo Santa Cruz and Keith Thurman vs. Shawn Porter -- Showtime has three more featured fights for Saturday.
Jesus Cuellar vs. Abner Mares will headline the two-fight card from Los Angeles on Showtime beginning at 10 p.m. ET. Cuellar (28-1, 21 KOs) will be looking to defend his WBA featherweight title against Abner Mares (29-2-1, 15 KOs). Plus, Jermall Charlo (24-0, 18 KOs) will defend his IBF light middleweight belt against Julian Williams (22-0-1, 14 KOs).
