Kampen is a Butler graduate who was a member of the teams that played in the 2010 and 2011 Final Fours. Sadly, one of his teammates was Andrew Smith, the Butler big who died last month after a battle with cancer, meaning Butler has been dealing with too much lately.
Butler is 15-7.
The Bulldogs play at St. John's on Saturday.
