No. 1 Alabama continued it's march towards the College Football Playoff with another dominant performance, dispatching Auburn 30-12 in the Iron Bowl to wrap up an undefeated 12-0 regular season.

The Alabama defense led the way as it has most of the season with another tremendous showing, limiting the Tigers' offense to 182 total yards of offense. Auburn, which entered the game fifth in the nation in rushing offense at 297 yards per game, could only manage 66 rushing yards on the top-ranked Alabama run defense.

Jonathan Allen, as he often does, led the Alabama defensive pressure from his spot on the defensive line with six tackles, including two for loss, as the Tide swarmed Auburn's offense all afternoon.

Alabama's offense struggled with turnovers in the first half -- two interceptions and one fumble by quarterback Jalen Hurts setting up three Auburn field goals. Hurts was effective in the passing game, finding ArDarius Stewart early and often for 137 yards and one touchdown on 10 receptions.

Hurts and the Tide were able to cut out the turnovers in the second half and pull away as Alabama got its running game going with 134 yards on the ground. Bo Scarborough was the workhorse for the Tide's ground game with 17 carries for 90 yards.

Alabama capped off the game in vintage Alabama style, with a nine-minute, 15 play drive that went 58 yards and ran the clock out on the game.

Next up for Alabama is a date with Florida in the Georgia Dome for the SEC Championship Game, where a win would guarantee a No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff. Meanwhile, Auburn will have to wait to find out if they end the season as the SEC's second-highest ranked team after Alabama plays Florida to see if the Tigers will represent the conference in the Sugar Bowl.
