Former Tennessee RB Jalen Hurd announces he's transferring to Baylor
Hurd left Tennessee during the 2016 season
Jalen Hurd finally has a new team.
The former Tennessee running back announced his decision to transfer at the end of October -- while the season was still going on -- and while Tennessee was in the midst of a three-game losing streak. Now, nearly a full six months later, Hurd announced his decision via a photo on Twitter.

That's Hurd in a Baylor shirt in case you were having trouble making it out.
Hurd will have to sit out the 2017 season, but he'll have one year of eligibility left in 2018.
One of the reasons Hurd decided to leave Tennessee is that he believed the offense the Vols were running didn't fit him. Your first reaction to seeing him select Baylor might be that the offense isn't much of a fit either, but with Matt Rhule taking over in Waco, that Baylor offense is going to look quite a bit different in the future.
Hurd should find himself right at home in Baylor's new pro-style attack.
