You know what they say: If you can’t beat Jim Harbaugh, might as well join him

I’m not saying that’s what Florida coach Jim McElwain was thinking when he tweeted a photo of a Gators jersey featuring Lil’ Wayne’s name ahead of the star rapper’s concert in Gainesville. I’m just saying I can’t be sure he wasn’t thinking that. 

Most coaches try to stay active on social media to connect with recruits on better level. Some use it to share pictures of wild rattlesnake hunts, but those are few and far between. Many just want to show they are more rounded than some Xs and Os guy. Harbaugh is the king of doing this

Regardless, there are few juxtapositions in imagery more satisfying than a man in his mid 50s sporting a buttoned down shirt and khakis half-smiling promoting an artist like Lil’ Wayne. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Lil’ McElwain ... 

By the way, Florida and Michigan meet in Week 1 of the 2017 season. Winner gets to claim Lil’ Wayne as their own?
