Hey, did you hear Penn State is a second-half team? Because that's what it looks like in the Rose Bowl against USC.

Penn State shot out of halftime with a 79-yard touchdown run by running back Saquon Barkley. The sophomore bounced outside when the offensive line was clearly bottled up and made about a half-dozen Trojans defenders miss on his way to the end zone.

But the fireworks weren't done. On the next offensive possession, Nittany Lions receiver Chris Godwin hauled in what will probably be the touchdown reception of the game on a tipped pass that he acrobatically hauled in before running 72 yards to the house.

That's incredible concentration by Godwin, who is having a monster day. His 187 yards early in the third quarter is already a career best for him.

Penn State struggled early, but the Nittany Lions are rolling now thanks to their offense.
