WATCH: 'The Price is Right' contestant belts out an Earth-shattering 'Roll Tide'
Alabama fans are everywhere, including network television on weekdays
When I was a kid, I used to love watching "The Price Is Right." Not so much because it was an amazing game show and not just because my young mind was enchanted by the show's models displaying the prizes.
No, I loved watching the show because it meant I wasn't in school. Since the show aired on weekday mornings, that meant it was either summer or I was home sick (or at least had convinced my mother I was sick). So any day watching "The Price Is Right" was a good day.
I don't watch the show much anymore, but had I been watching last week I'd have seen my childhood and my career cross paths thanks to Annette Peterson. You see, Annette is an Alabama fan, and if you know anything about Alabama fans, you know that no matter where they are or what they're doing, they're going to yell "Roll Tide" at some point.
She took it to another level, screaming "Roll Tide, Roll" right in front of host Drew Carey.
Unfortunately for Annette, she hit a 35 on the big wheel and followed it up with an 80, eliminating her from a chance at the Showcase Showdown. It's been a rough year for the Tide.
Seriously, I want to go to church with Alabama fans just to see if they yell "Roll Tide" instead of "amen" at the end of every prayer. I bet they do, because I'm pretty sure every prayer is for Alabama football.
