Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Officially shifts to IR
The Cardinals placed Harrison (foot) on injured reserve Friday.
Harrison's placement on IR is no surprise, given that he was ruled out for Week 18 on Wednesday by head coach Jonathan Gannon. The second-year pro is dealing with a foot injury suffered during Arizona's loss to the Bengals in Week 17, but there have not yet been any indications that the issue is anything that could impact his participation in the team's offseason program. Across a disappointing sophomore campaign in which injuries limited him to just 12 regular-season appearances, Harrison secured 41 of 73 targets for 608 yards and four touchdowns.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Ruled out for Week 18
Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said Wednesday that Harrison (foot) will not suit up for Sunday's regular-season finale on the road against the Rams, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Harrison will miss Arizona's final game of the 2025 campaign due to a foot injury suffered versus Cincinnati in Week 17, a contest in which he played just 33 percent of offensive snaps and failed to secure his only target. That wraps a disappointing second professional season for the 2024 first-round pick, who concludes the year with a 41-608-4 receiving line on 73 targets across 12 regular-season appearances. Prior to his current foot issue, a heel injury limited Harrison to just three appearances after Week 10, across which he combined for just seven catches for 83 yards. Harrison fading down the stretch has paved the way for WR Michael Wilson to emerge as a legitimate playmaker alongside TE Trey McBride, both of whom will will remain the clear top targets for QB Jacoby Brissett in the Cardinals' regular-season finale against a Los Angeles squad that may have nothing to play for in terms of playoff seeding should the 49ers defeat the Seahawks on Saturday night.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Could play Week 18
Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said Monday that Harrison (heel) will suit up for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Rams "if he is healthy enough to play," Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Harrison has at least not yet been ruled out for Week 18, which is encouraging. He missed Weeks 14 and 15 due to a heel injury before he was cleared to suit up for each of Arizona's next two games. He then was forced off the field Week 17 versus Cincinnati due to an apparent aggravation of that issue. Gannon said Monday, however, that Harrison is dealing with a foot injury. It appears as though Harrison's availability for Week 18 will come down to the extent of his practice activity Wednesday through Friday.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Aggravates heel injury
Harrison left Sunday's game in Cincinnati due to a heel injury.
Harrison sat out Weeks 14 and 15 due to a heel issue but has been able to suit up for both of the Cardinals' last two contests. Upon his departure in the fourth quarter this Sunday, he was unable to haul in his only target. For as long as Harrison is sidelined, Michael Wilson will continue to pace the team's receiving corps, with WRs Xavier Weaver, Jalen Brooks and Steven Sims the other available options at the position.

For a second week in a row, Harrison wasn't able to progress beyond a limited participant in practice as he tends to the heel injury that sidelined him Weeks 14 and 15. He entered the weekend listed as questionable, and while Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Saturday evening that Harrison was expected to play, the second-year wide receiver again is slated to have his workload managed. Harrison logged a 51 percent snap share last Sunday against the Falcons en route to one catch (on three targets) for 14 yards, which was well behind fellow WR Michael Wilson's 86 percent share and 2-52-1 line on three targets.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Likely to be on snap count Sunday
Harrison (heel) remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, but he's expected to play and is likely to have his snaps managed for the second straight contest, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Harrison had missed four of the Cardinals' five games between Weeks 11 and 15 -- two due to an appendectomy, two due to a heel injury -- before he was cleared to return to action in last Sunday's 26-19 loss to the Falcons. However, Harrison played just 51 percent of the offensive snaps in the loss, turning in a disappointing 1-14-0 receiving line on three targets. Harrison looks to have avoided any setbacks coming out of that contest, but he'll once again be carrying a designation into the weekend after he was a limited participant in all three of the Cardinals' Week 17 practices. Harrison should be cleared when Arizona releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, but the likelihood that he has his snaps monitored again probably limits his fantasy appeal relative to the Cardinals' other top pass catchers, tight end Trey McBride and wideout Michael Wilson.

Harrison was listed as limited on all three of Arizona's Week 17 practice reports due to a heel injury, which, according to the wide receiver, feels "solid" and should allow him to play Sunday. His status will be confirmed about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, but even if he does suit up, it stands to reason he may not be available for much more than the 51 percent snap share he handled this past Sunday against the Falcons.

Harrison (heel) was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
In his return from a two-game absence due to a heel injury this past Sunday against the Falcons, Harrison played just 29 of 57 offensive snaps and gathered in one of three targets for 14 yards. The workload was a significant departure from most of his appearances this season, but it's not a total surprise considering Adam Schefter of ESPN reported late Saturday that Harrison was expected to be eased back in. Harrison's limitations to begin Week 17 prep indicate his health still is compromised, and how he fares in drills Thursday and Friday likely will play into the Cardinals' decision to tag him with a designation (or not) ahead of Sunday's game at Cincinnati.
