Mat Latos headed into free agency on a decidedly down note, getting traded after an up-and-down four months with the Marlins and then pitching ineffectively in brief stints with the Dodgers and Angels. Yet the White Sox were willing to take a flier, as will many Fantasy owners. The good news is he did regain some velocity after an early season knee surgery, which improved his results initially. Even including his bumpy finish, Latos compiled a respectable 3.79 xFIP and is a potential rebound candidate for 2016. Standard mixed league owners should take the cautious route, though, and pass on him on Draft Day.
