Berry signed a minor league contract with the Angels on Tuesday that includes an invite to spring training.
The 31-year-old will get to make his case for a roster spot in the spring, but it seems likely Berry will continue to serve as depth within his new organization. While Berry still has good speed and can play all three outfield positions, his .225/.326/.282 line at the Triple-A level last season will make it hard for any big-league club to justify giving him at-bats.
