Warren and the Cubs agreed to terms on a one-year, $1.7 million deal Friday, avoiding arbitration in the process, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Warren came over from the Yankees in the Starlin Castro deal, and while he may not be the most intriguing name, he was a steady arm for New York last season, compiling a 3.29 ERA in 43 appearances. Seventeen of those appearances came as a starter, but he figures to work primarily out of the Chicago bullpen in 2016.
