There is talk of Schwarber working as a personal catcher for Kyle Hendricks in 2016, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Any news of Schwarber playing enough catcher to get eligibility there is good news, not to mention working as a personal catcher for at least one member of the rotation keeps the dream alive of the 22-year-old sticking at the position long-term. This is still an early spring training rumor, but it is certain the Cubs are going to have get creative with playing time for whoever is lined up to see the outfield in Wrigley.
