Kershaw (back) is flying back to Los Angeles to meet with team doctors, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
According to McCullough, there is still optimism within the organization regarding Kershaw's status for Friday's start. That said, Kershaw's back soreness has reportedly not subsided at all since he underwent treatment Monday. More information on Kershaw's status for Friday figures to be made available after his visit with team doctors Wednesday.
